Lifetime native of Massachusetts, Marie has been in the salon industry her whole life. First as a stylist, then as a salon educator for Redken Labs traveling throughout the USA. Marie started the salon in 1982. The concept was an all inclusive, one location, for woman and men to enjoy hair, skin, nails, and spa services that at that time you could only go to a high end resort or hotel to achieve. Many services can be grouped together for the ultimate day of self care. Over the past 38 years the salon has grown from 800 sq. ft. to 12,000 sq. ft., which has what made Marie's concept for everyone to experience quality services one after the other a reality.
Marie feels that having a salon on the south shore has been an amazing journey and loves being a part of so many people’s lives and personal achievements. So many layers of human nature in all these connections. Personal Best strives to be a safe and reassuring place of comfort (with the help of all who work here) with the byproduct bringing out your PERSONAL BEST!!!
Brenda loves meeting and working with people. She is an excellent receptionist, greeting clients, explaining services and scheduling appointments. She is very fond of her family here at Personal Best and is well liked by her coworkers and our clients.
Alex has been an active stylist for over 25 years and has been with Personal Best approximately 8 years. She is excellent with color, straightening, smoothing and working on fine hair. Alex achieves excellent results when she is called upon to repair color damaged hair, restoring the hair to a beautiful finish.
Alisiea has worked in the Beauty Industry for 10 years as a salon hairstylist on the south shore! Alisiea is certain to keep current and on trend by choosing educational experiences that have taken her to Florida, Italy, New York, and of course (her favorite) Boston. She loves a new and exciting adventure! Alisiea has fallen in love with balayage and foil work. She understands the importance of details and makes sure each of her clients has a customized look that makes them feel amazing.
Catie provides many services and is excellent in each are. She creates a rapport with each of her clients. She loves her work and it shows in everything she does. A happy, energetic, caring personality, we are very happy she is a part of our family.
Caitlin is a lived in color - balayage specialist who is not only good for your hair but better for your soul. She wants every client to feel heard & leave feeling like their best selves with the biggest smile on their faces! You can find Caitlin continuing her education every chance she gets! She also enjoys highlighting, haircuts, & educating her clients about their at home hair care to ensure they have the best hair even outside of her chair!
Christina has been a with us for over 20 years. She is an experienced stylist, a Keune Advanced Colorist and is excellent at her craft. Christina's personality drives the Personal Best team to offer the upbeat, happy, professional and caring service we give to our clients everyday.
Christine has been in the hair styling business over 20 years. She presents herself with easy style, confidence and an energetic personality. She is a creative foil and color expert. She loves making her clients feel good about their appearance.
Chuck is a senior stylist with over 30 years of experience. He has been with Personal Best for the last 7 years. He maintains great relationships with his clients, and is often saught after for his expertise. Chuck is also co-owner of House of Corrections where he specializes in tattoo removal.
Emmy takes a genuine interest in her clients and has formed lasting friendships with her clients. Emmy is very knowledgeable in hair care, color and styling. She has been with Personal Best since 1991.
George has been with the Personal Best family for over 10 years. Prior to joining our team, George owned his own beauty salon on Newbury Street in Boston. He is a very creative and knowledgable stylist. His cuts are amazing and always the latest on the runway. He is also an excellent colorist. He enjoys working with his clients to bring them the results they want.
Kaitlyn has been a hair stylist on the south shore for almost 17 years. She has many color certifications along with Babe tape-in hair extensions and Brazilian Blowout. Grey coverage is her specialty and favorite service to provide. When she is not behind the chair, she likes to spend her free time with her husband and two young kids.
Jenn is one of our more experienced stylists and has been with Personal Best for over 27 years she excels in all areas of her work. Her clients complete satisfaction with their color and style is her number one goal.
Karen is an experienced stylist with over 35 years experience cutting, coloring and perms. She has been with us over 20 years. Her goal is to make her clients feel good about themselves. She enjoys taking care of her clientele and being part of the Personal Best team.
Kellie has been a Licensed Cosmetologist since 2014 and joined the Personal Best team in 2017. Kellie continues to keep up her education by frequently taking classes to keep up with newest styles and trends.
Kris is a Senior Stylist specializing in cutting and coloring. Kris believes that designing your hair is a true art form and puts his highly creative talents to great use!
Maureen is an upbeat and energetic Stylist who has been with us for over 25 yrs. and has over 30 yrs. experience in the field. She has extensive training in color and product lines such as Matrix, Redken, Keune, Italy and Paul Mitchell. She is a certified Brazilian Blowout Stylist. Maureen believes that the consultation and communication is the most important part of her clients visit to the salon and enjoys her days behind the chair while welcoming new clients to come in for a new experience.

Cheryl has been with us for over 28 years. She is a medical esthetician who enjoys helping people look and feel better. She is dedicated to her clientele and helping them solve their beauty issues. She is our senior skin care expert and is highly knowledgeable in her field.
Diane Pollard is an experienced Massage Therapist who specializes in cupping massages as well as a variety of massage techniques. Diane is also an Esthetician who does facials and body wraps. Diane first came to us over 30 years ago. Diane is a true professional and a valuable asset to Personal Best.
Lauren’s career began as an Esthetician in 2007. Lauren continues her education by attending classes and seminars in the industry, and has obtained her Laser Hair Removal Certificate. She continues to grow and learn within the medical esthetics field. Suffering from Rosacea and adolescent acne herself, Lauren is passionate about helping clients with these unfortunate skin disorders. Lauren’s services include facials, waxing, laser hair removal, make-up artistry, and many more.
Lisa has been with us for 20 years and during that time has proven to be an excellent nail technician and Esthetician providing many services for our clients. She is very meticulous in her work and has a wonderful rapport with her clients.
Lori has been with us for over 15 years and in her profession for over 20 years. She does massages and is skilled in skin care and excellent with facials. She is very focused and serious concerning her work and we feel very fortunate to have her here at Personal Best.
Tamra is the owner of Timeless Beauty, a Permanent Makeup Studio located at Utopia Place. Tamra has also been with Personal Best for over 16 years. She has certificates in Advanced Esthetics, Microdermabraision and Peels. She is a makeup artist and also has a license in Permanent Makeup. Tamra says the best thing about what she does is making a difference in people's lives.

As a L.M.T Lorna has 25 years in the healing arts - including energy work and hypnotherapy. She is passionate about her work and is constantly evolving her techniques and treatments to fit her clients needs.
Kerri Ann is a massage therapist passionate about her career. She builds long lasting rapport with clients and leaves them feeling at peace after a session. Kerri is consistently learning new modalities, but specializes in gentle deep tissue.
Upon graduating nail school Lindsey started her career at Personal Best as a Nail Technician. She loves interacting with new clients, getting to know each and every one of them. It is her passion to make people happy and make sure they leave satisfied and feeling beautiful.

Nancy specializes in a variety of services that we have here at Personal Best. She is an experienced Nail technician, she is also a hair stylist, provides waxing services and specializes in airbrush tanning. She has an energetic, happy personality and always has a smile.
Rita has been a licensed Manicurist for over 25 years. Rita is a great asset to Personal Best, always bringing a bright and happy demeanor to our Nail Room, She is always happy to be working with her clients and it shows in her meticulous skill. She says it is important that her clients leave feeling happy and relaxed. And, indeed they do!
Anna has been a Front Desk Receptionist with us for over 11 years. Her bright smile and happy demeanor have made her a favorite of clients as well as her coworkers. She is fond of the family feeling at Personal Best and she greatly enhances that feeling for our clients.
I started at personal best in 1997 as a nail technician. I changed careers in 2004 and returned here to personal best as a receptionist. It was wonderful to rejoin the team again and find so many of our employees still here. I have found my happy place here at Personal Best!
Debbie has been with us for over 10 years and is part of our exceptional front desk team. She has great customer skills and is very knowledgable of all services offered. She is excellent at scheduling services for our clients and is always helpful to both our clients and her coworkers.
Liz has been with us for over 5 years and is an excellent customer service representative for Personal Best. She loves working with people and being in our fast paced, busy salon. She is excellent and accurate when setting appointments. We love and admire her happy and 'can do' attitude - a great fit for the Personal Best family.
Jackie is our newest edition to our desk staff, and is energetic, pleasant and fun.
Kerry has been a receptionist at Personal Best for 5 years. Acting as a liaison between staff and clients, she thrives in the fast-paced front desk environment, coordinating schedules to provide the optimal customer experience!
Lynn has been greeting people at our front desk since 2003. She is very knowledgeable about the services Personal Best offers and is excellent at scheduling. Lynn is also responsible for all the beautiful items offered in our gift area. She is perfect for her position as she loves being social and interacting with our clients and her coworkers.
